TRIPLE A an ECO and responsible partner
A responsible policy
Our company is proud to announce its concrete commitment to the fight against climate change. Aware of the importance of reducing our environmental impact, we have decided to work with a certified company specialising in reducing CO2 emissions. We chose to work with CO2 Logic, a partner recognised for its expertise in carbon offsetting and sustainable development. Together, we have identified and implemented effective solutions to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions. An essential part of our approach is to offset our emissions through reforestation projects. These initiatives play a major role in capturing atmospheric CO2, while contributing to the preservation of biodiversity and the development of local communities. By working alongside CO2 Logic, we are committed not only to offsetting our current emissions, but also to continually improving our processes to reduce our emissions at source. This approach reflects our desire to be a responsible and committed player in the face of global climate challenges. We believe that every action counts and that, collectively, we can have a positive impact on our planet. Together, let's build a more sustainable future!
An ethical Commitment
In a context where social and environmental issues are at the heart of concerns, Triple A, as an importer, has chosen to adopt a proactive approach to ensure an ethical and sustainable supply chain. We have become a member of AMFORI-BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative), a global initiative to promote fair and ethical working conditions within supply chains. The amfori BSCI Code of Conduct is based on the fundamental principles set out by the International Labour Organisation (ILO), the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the United Nations Global Compact and the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises. By joining the BSCI, we make a firm commitment to involve our suppliers in the compliance process. This means actively working with them to ensure that they comply with the BSCI Code of Conduct, undergo regular audits, and benefit from training programmes to help them continuously improve their practices. To reinforce this approach and ensure greater transparency, we have also chosen to be audited by EcoVadis, a recognised global player in the evaluation of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) performance. Thanks to their expertise, we are able to identify and manage ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) risks.to ensure that our practices comply with international standards and to continuously improve the CSR performance of our company and that of our value chain. These concrete commitments enabled us to obtain the SILVER medal from EcoVadis in 2006, a recognition that testifies to our constant desire to generate positive impacts on a large scale. Today, Triple A continues its efforts to promote responsible, transparent practices that respect human rights. With the support of renowned partners such as amfori BSCI and EcoVadis, we affirm our ambition to contribute to a more ethical, sustainable and inclusive future for all stakeholders.
OUR VALUES
rMilam’ is a not-for-profit association whose mission is to offer disadvantaged children the opportunity to realise their dreams through education. The name rMilam, which means ‘dream’ in Ladakhy, embodies this simple but essential vision: to enable every child, whatever their circumstances, to access school and build a better future. Born of life-changing human encounters in the remote region of Ladakh, nestled in the heart of the Himalayas, the association is committed to taking concrete action to offer a chance to children who, without support, would remain excluded from the education system. Every donation, however modest, finances enrolment fees, uniforms, books and even accommodation for the pupils. For example, 16 euros a month is enough to support a child for a whole month and open the doors to learning. Education is a fundamental right, but it is still a privilege for many children around the world. rMilam enables everyone to contribute directly to this change, by providing practical help to the most disadvantaged. By supporting this initiative, you become an agent of change, bringing to life dreams that would otherwise remain unattainable. For many years now, Belgian forests have been suffering from unprecedented health crises, exacerbated by the effects of climate change. Attacks by bark beetles on spruce trees, chalarosis affecting ash trees and oak dieback are worrying examples. Weakened by successive droughts, trees are struggling to resist biotic and abiotic threats, leading to an alarming decline in our forest ecosystems. Founded in 1893, the Société Royale Forestière de Belgique (SRFB) works with determination to promote and protect forests in all their multifunctional aspects. By encouraging sustainable forestry and training its members in forest management techniques, the SRFB plays an essential role in preserving our forests. Aware of the urgency of climate change, it pays particular attention to adapting forests to the environmental challenges of tomorrow. With this in mind, we are joining forces with the SRFB as a partner to actively support its initiatives. Since 2011, the SRFB has been offering voluntary organisations the opportunity to contribute to projects to restore Belgium's forests. In 2018, in response to accelerating climate change, an innovative project was launched: ‘Trees for Future’. This ambitious scientific programme aims to identify the most resilient forest species adapted to the future climate, in collaboration with researchers. It is a fundamental pillar in ensuring the sustainability of our forests. Since 2020, every contribution to tree planting also supports the Trees for Future project. This commitment reflects our desire to take concrete action for a sustainable future, by contributing to solutions that are both practical and scientific for our forest ecosystems. By working with the Société Royale Forestière de Belgique, we are helping to build a robust forestry heritage capable of meeting the climate and health challenges that lie ahead. We are proud to support this essential cause and invite everyone to take part in this collective effort to preserve and restore our forests, the green lungs of our territory.
